Grandma Courtney Visits

One day Grandma Lu had a visitor. Grandma Lu didn't get company very often. She lived far away from all her family. She was very happy to see Grandma Courtney. Grandma Courtney lived far far away.
Grandma Courtney had some grandchildren too and she brought her little grandson with her. His name was Jaxson. What a fun surprise for Grandma Lu.
The first thing Grandma Lu did was get her company something to eat. Oh dear, I don't think Jaxson liked what I had fixed."
"Oh dear, what shall I do, said Grandma Lu?" Then she had a thought.
Jaxson liked fruit better than vegetables,
Grandma Courtney laughed. She said, "Sometimes I like fruit better than vegetables too. Then both Grandmas laughed.

Jaxson got tired and started yawning really big and made a big noise. Grandma Betty told her friend, Grandma Lu, that Jaxson needed a nap. So she showed Grandma Courtney where he could lay down and take a nap. He was a really good boy and went right to sleep.
The next day they went to Grandma Lu's friend. She was a grandma too. Her name was Grandma B. How funny so many grandmas!

Grandma B had lots of fun things to do. She had little horses, little donkeys, and lots of places to run and play.
She also had a little granddaughter there. Her name was Marlee.
Marlee and Jaxson had so much fun that day. They played in the bushes and flowers and found rocks and sticks. They also saw some ducks!
The Grandmas had fun too. They took a walk, and they had a snack with their grandchildren.
Grandma Lu was getting sleepy. She told the other Grandmas that fresh air made her sleepy. She told Grandma Courtney and Grandma B that it was time to go back to her house.
They waved good-bye and smiled really big because it was a good good day.
