Marlee's Grandma B lives on a farm. Grandma B's farm has lots and lots of trees. In those trees live birds, squirrels and lots of other little animals. Squirrels like to run and jump and play in the trees. A squirrel was teasing Grandma B's dog Stashia, one day when Grandma B was gone. She got into trouble for tearing down the stuff on Grandma B's windows.

There are all kinds of birds that live in Grandma B's trees. There are red birds, blue birds, black birds and orange birds and yellow birds. There are big birds and little tiny Birds can talk too. They make soft little noises like "cheep cheep." Some birds make noises that sound like other birds, and some birds go "Hoot Hoot!" The birds that go "Hoot Hoot" like to talk when no one can see them. Little hoot owls are little but sometimes when they "talk" they can make a little girl like Marlee scared. If only Marlee could see the little hoot owl she wouldn't be scared any more. I wonder what a little hoot owl would look like that wouldn't scare Marlee.
