Marlee, Christmas Paper, And Ribbon!

As you know Marlee is two (2) years old. She wants to be "big" so much that sometimes she attempts things that are a bit much for her age. Today she thought that she would attempt wrapping gifts. Well, it seems that one gift turned out to take awhile, a good bit, actually.  She took it good-naturedly for awhile, then the tides turned.
Today is just her first try, maybe some of her friends will have better luck.
Enjoy the pictures.
She thinks that is an awful lot of paper. Hmm, now what?
Well, she knew what she was doing, but, oh oh, she put the box on top of the pretty side. Hmm.
Then since the bow was so pretty she needed to stop and enjoy the moment.
I think that Marlee will be very good at checkers or chess when she grows up because I can see that she has a strategy taking place. Yes!
Err, that silly ribbon got itself wound around her ankle. It's so slippery.

Now she is very pleased with herself. She figured it out. Marlee looks to Grandma B for assurance that is in fact the right way.
Oh brother, you really don't have to put ribbon on presents, do you? It is just going to get torn off anyway.
Grandma B and her mama were there to offer her some advice, however, as usual, Marlee did it her way. Love it!

But after awhile she got a bit frustrated. What a cute little face. I think that she is disgusted with the whole wrapping presents thing.
But as always there was Plan B. Sitting on her Papa's lap is just right after a hard afternoon's job. Marlee needed to rest because tomorrow was a very big day at Marleewood.
There was little story today, just a cute series of events in little Marlee's life. Another "page" in her life that I am sure will make her children smile someday when she shows them her pictures.
