Grandma Lu Is Sad

One morning Grandma Lu was sad. Most days Grandma Lu is happy, but today she felt sad all over! She went to find the neighbor dog and he even looked sad. "Oh dear," thought Grandma Lu. "This just will not do. The neighbor lady also had a cat. Grandma Lu found that cat looking sad too!
She thought and thought and decided she would sit down at her computer and look at pictures of all the people that make her happy. First she saw her daughter when she was a little girl. Oh, she was so cute. Grandma Lu felt just a little smile start on her lips. Then Grandma Lu found a picture of her oldest son. He was the cutest baby in the world. He had red hair just like his daddy. Then she found a picture of her second son. He looked like his daddy too. She found herself with a smile on her face. Then she found a picture of one of her grandsons. He had blue eyes and blonde hair just like his mother. Oh, Grandma Lu did love that boy. Oh, my goodness she found a picture of Winter too!! Oh Oh, Winter had a sad face. When Grandma Lu saw that sad face she said, "this will not do."

She looked and she looked and found a toy that really made her smile. It was just like a toy that one of her children used to play with. This is how Grandma Lu looked when she was all done looking at pictures of the people that she loves.
