Marlee Is On The Air!

As you know if you have been reading the last few stories, Marlee has been working out, and also having her finger nails and toe nails polished. She needed a little rest and relaxation between cooking school shows.
Today Marlee is going to attempt to show you readers how to fix three (3) things at once for a pretty big lunch. On the menu today, she is going to fix a grilled cheese sandwich, a hot dog, and some Ramon noodles. That is a lot going on at the same time. Since Marlee is two (2) she also likes to sample her food as she cooks. As a matter of fact a lot of people do. Marlee is a very cheerful cook and grins and chuckles just anticipating how very good her meal is going to turn out.

As she and her Grandma B show you the special way of stirring the noodles, you will see the last picture that Marlee has picked out for the cover of her new cookbook that should be published next year. It will be called The One More Bite Cookbook. It will contain simple recipes and pictures of foods that are quick and easy to make as well as eat for toddlers.
Today's show will be added to the cookbook, I'm sure.
The first thing that Marlee is teaching is the buttering of the outside of the bread for grilled cheese sandwiches. You have to make sure that the butter reaches the edges of the bread.
After she got the bread buttered and "B" put the sandwich on the griddle, Marlee is going to instruct you on the easy way to make Ramon noodles. She seems to enjoy the noodles raw without cooking them first. See the great cooks have their special ways of doing things.
Hmm, it seems that the grilled cheese sandwiches are done, but the hot dog was forgotten! You will see later on in the show how Marlee covers for the mistake in her timing.
Once again you see that Marlee is wearing nice clothing, has set the table with "B"'s nice stoneware and has a smile on her face. Marlee says that a cheerful person makes a meal a happy place to be for everyone. When you are a happy cheerful person and of course, a good cook, people enjoy coming to your home for meals. Marlee loves company that's for sure.
Once again after you watch the videos you will see that Marlee is plating the food so that it has an appetizing appearance on the plate. Her Grandma B keeps telling her how to do that and it seems to work. Marlee enjoys her own cooking to no end!
The last picture that you will see will be on the cover of her cookbook next year.
Eat with a happy heart, everyone!

  1. Marlee will learn that getting everything done at the same time is a knack that some cooks never get quite right! People don't care as long as the cook is cheerful.
