The Sign Said, "Be Back In An Hour" Oh Oh!!

Marlee and Charlie didn't see what was going on outside, but the Grandmas did. They saw little James on the fence. but so did his sister, Ginny. Do you remember Ginny? She walked into Marleewood a few days ago and fed a cat some milk. She was eating cookies that her Great Aunt Diane had made.
Ginny caught up with James right away and explained to him that he must always have a grownup with him when he wants to go places. He didn't exactly go along with that, but Ginny took his hand and took him back to her aunt's house. When they got back Ginny explained to her what had happened. Her aunt remembered Marleewood and thought to herself that she might like to go visit Marleewood herself. She would think about it. She would have a day off soon and do some visiting with Ginny and James.

Inside Marleewood there seemed to be a lull in the shoppers. In fact there weren't any shoppers yet this morning. They decided that they all needed to get out and go have something to eat at the cafe next door. They put up a sign on the door that said, "We will be back in an hour." The only thing was they didn't say what hour! Oh, oh!! That may have been a mistake.

There were some friends there too! They saw Cooper, and of course Sawyer and Charlie were there.  Laila were there too!
Marlee's Uncle B was there and so was Noah. They were eating ice cream.

Grandma B saw a friend of hers there too. Her name is Nikki. They hugged each other and visited while the children were either coloring their place mats or eating.

Marlee seemed a little bit distracted. In fact she was watching a video on her Grandma B's cell phone.
I wonder if she was really watching a video or was she thinking about Marleewood? She sure did hope that some people would call or come to Marleewood that wanted to help her and the Grandmas.
While everyone was at the cafe having a good time, there was a lady at Marleewood holding something pink to her heart. Plus there were lots of people holding bags and boxes of things sitting on the ground. I certainly do hope that Marlee and her friends get back to Marleewood soon, don't you?
