There Is A "Help Wanted" Sign At Marleewood

The rumors were flying around Marlee's small town. She didn't have enough time to take care of all the kids and babies in the Daycare. She needed help. She had been spreading herself a little thin taking care of a lot of little ones for their mamas. The Grandmas were helping too. They were fixing snacks, pancakes, even drying off wet mittens that had gotten full of snow. It was a busy busy place nowadays. Marlee needed help and she made no bones about it! She told everybody she knew that Marleewood needed a couple of Daycare Managers. She wanted a grownup and a little kid. But the little kids had to be older than her and approved by the Grandmas. She had things to do for goodness sake's. She had a cooking show, she was missing her friend, Charlie because she was so busy and when she got back home or to Grandma B's house she was so tired.
Marlee couldn't go to work everyday. She needed days off to play at the Mini Farm and at home with her animals there.
Cooper kind of shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, Marlee, why don't you post a Help Wanted sign outside? Maybe somebody might want a job that doesn't pay anything, but snacks and making new friends."
Marlee had been lucking out with not paying out any coins for her friends to help at Marleewood.
Marlee decided that Cooper had an excellent idea.
She knew how to send a note to Orion for help, when she needed him while on one of her adventures, so she sure could make a sign. She also can write out her recipes for her One More Bite cooking school.
She tore out a little piece of paper out of her "B's" little notebook, got some colors and tried to make a sign. She finally gave up and asked for help from a friend. Remember that was a lesson that Marlee learned when she was little. If you have trouble doing something even after you try really hard, you ask a friend.
Together, they got the sign pretty well finished. Cooper and Sawyer went outside and tacked the Help Wanted sign on the front of the building. Now they had to wait for someone to call or come in to apply for the jobs.
Hopefully, someone would see the sign.
What they didn't think of because they were only two (2) and three (3) years old, was that the Grandmas were asking around for help as well. Some of the grandmas had jobs, some were really busy with their kids and their own grandchildren, but some were just waiting to be asked!

Marlee was way too busy to worry about it. You see when Marlee is busy taking care of some of the little ones, that means that Charlie is busy selling things out of the Christmas Shop. She stocked a lot of things that people like to decorate their homes with for Thanksgiving too. So far that one shop has been the Costume Shop and now the Christmas Shop that sells Thanksgiving things too. Maybe we should call it the Holiday Shop! Whatever we call it,
Thanksgiving is coming soon. We shall have some Thanksgiving stories that will be fun to read.
These are pictures of  Thanksgiving door wreaths. One is big and one is little. Can you name the different colors in the wreath? I see red and orange. What other colors do you see?

Folks like to decorate their houses for Fall and Thanksgiving. Charlie has things like this in her Holiday Shop too.
Neither one of them knew what was happening outside. Hmm..  I think I hear a little girl calling a little boy, who is about to climb over the fence into the  Marleewood playground. I think we might know her. We will find out the next time we read a Marlee story.
