The Photo Album And A Birthday Party

When the Marleewood children got together today they all had something for Grandma Lu. If they didn't have a picture or a gift they had a plan to do something for her.

Marlee's Grandma B had found a photo book that would work pretty good they thought for Easter Bunny pictures. They all went over and sat down to see if their pictures would fit in the pretty little book. "B" had put it on the coffee table in the sitting room. She thought it was small enough that Grandma Lu would have room for it. The children all agreed and went outside because it was such a nice sunny day.
They sat down under the Magnolia tree and started to work. They needed to get this done before Kanyon's first birthday party. There was tons of stuff to do.
Kanyon's mama gave Grandma B his Easter Bunny picture for the photo book. Coralynn had a fun one with the Easter bunny that she wanted Grandma Lu to have too. Addie said that she liked that Easter Bunny and gave her picture to Grandma B. She really looked him over. Arie loved the Easter Bunny. She gladly gave a picture to Grandma B to put in the photo album for Grandma Lu. Even baby Lucas had his picture taken with the Easter. Bunny. How cute.
Bella looked at her picture and said, "That was a fun day. I hope Grandma Lu likes these pictures."
Baby Addison doesn't smile much because she is so little, but her mama caught a great big grin on Easter. Oh Grandma Lu will just love that picture. Grandma B told the children to tell their friends that if they had Easter Bunny pictures to add just to bring them to her and she would put them in the album.
The children and his mama decided that Kanyon's birthday party would be about two (2) in the afternoon. Grandma B said that she would make sure that Grandma Lu would be there to help celebrate. There would be cake and ice cream and lots of balloons. He was going to be a whole year old already. Hopefully he will enjoy his special cake. His mommie and daddy call him the Wild One. He even had his own decorated table. He loved his cake and oh, one more thing, his presents!
He was so lucky. He got a car that he could ride to Marleewood. He may have gotten more than one. He got an Easter Bunny toy too. It was so soft and cuddly. It was hard for him to choose between it and his horsie. Grandma Lu walked outside and started laughing. "Kanyon, why are you frowning? Did you eat too much birthday cake or is the sun too bright? What a fun party you had. Let's have a smile, okay?"

For some reason there seems to be more of a secret in the air than the surprise party for Grandma Lu. I wonder if Marlee has a secret that she isn't talking about.
