Moss; The Wood Nymph

Out in the forest there was a cute little wood nymph. Her name was Moss because she was born on the north side of the tree. Moss was going to "Wish School." She wasn't doing very well. She loved her home, but she didn't like school all that well. There was a mean old wood nymph that told her she always made mistakes. She had to do better or she would have to clean up the leaves under all of the trees in her part of the forest. That mean old teacher told her she had one more chance to make a wish come true for children or that's exactly what would happen to her. Moss really wanted her  "junior wish wings."
So she would try really hard to do what she was told.

Moss frowned a little bit when she thought about that old teacher, but at the same time she grinned when she saw all the cute little animals in the forest and the beautiful wildflowers. She decided that she would make herself a crown and be a beautiful princess for the day. Moss loved to wear flowers and look beautiful. Moss also loved to sing and be happy. She was playing tag with the little rabbits and oh how much fun they were having. When Moss would laugh it sounded like little crystal bells tinkling in the breeze. She would blow kisses to the birds in the trees and they would chirp at her in their very own little voices. Oh the forest was such a happy place.
Moss wasn't aware that that mean old wood nymph was watching her. She also didn't know that two (2) little girls were getting ready for bed.
Moss continued on her travels throughout the forest. She was alerted that a wish was being made when her left ear itched. "Oh dear, I sure hope I do this right. It seems like I am always making mistakes. But I think that I will swing a little bit first then I will go see who is making a wish. I have to  make sure that I can make it come true if I take this job. I was told that I didn't have to take all the wishes. So I will see what they want. If it isn't a good wish, I will just ignore it."
While Moss was enjoying the swing that she had made and the little animals and flowers in the forest, Marlee and Grandma B were still wondering where Grandma Lu's purse was. Of course, Marlee still wanted her golden egg back, but she had forgiven Grandma Lu for losing it.
Grandma B and Marlee went back to the Mini Farm and started getting their supper ready. Grandma B said, "Marlee who were you talking to on the cell phone today?" Marlee said, "It was that lady that sold you my new riding toy at the garage sale,  remember?" "Oh, that's right I forgot." She continued to get things out of the refrigerator and all of a sudden she said, "Oh, Marlee, I bet a nickel that Grandma Lu's husband has not thought about calling her cell phone. Maybe someone will pick it up. Then we will know where your golden egg is too." So that's exactly what Grandma B did, but she didn't get an answer. There is one thing that Grandma B forgot to do. Can you think about what else she could have done to find Grandma Lu's cell phone?
Who is making a wish? Will Moss miss her chance to get her wings in Wish School. Oh I sure hope not.
Another question, who is the lady in red?

  1. Moss is being bullied. I can remember being bullied when I was only 6 years old. Bullying can be done by young and old people. It is an epidemic in our country and it must stop. Please help spread the word to your children and grandchildren. Thanks
