The Marleewood Gang Is On Their Way

Wilameana had been happy that the humans had moved out of that little house on the hillside. They had been much too happy for too many years as far as she was concerned. She had caused a drought which meant no rain. Their flowers didn't grow or bloom. The grass had turned brown. The couple sadly agreed that they would have to move out of the forest.
Moss listened to Luna as she told her the sad story. Well, at least now she knew what had happened. Someday she would have to deal with Wilameana's mean ways, but right now she had to find those two (2) little girls as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, Kylee and Kenlee were starting to walk in circles. That is because that mean old Wilameana was using her pointer finger in circles and making them get more and more lost.

Suddenly the girls heard the sound of loud motor noises and people calling. It sounded to them like they were hearing their friends at Marleewood. They even thought that they heard Marlee and their family members calling their names.
They heard dogs barking and horses whinnying.
Grayson and his father were in the group searching with their wolf dog, Lycan.
Hunter, Misty, Harleigh and Coralynn were riding their horses.

Papa Mike had Matthew and Maddie on the four wheeler. They could drive over the rough ground very easily.

Brandon thought he might take the motorcycle but his legs were still too short so he had to get a ride. But he was bound and determined to help find his great nieces. Yes, Kylee and Kenlee are also family as well as friends to Brandon.
Noah and Hudson jumped in their car and followed the group of people searching.
Last but not least, was Marlee and her Papa in Grandma B's Ranger.
All of these humans were not fooling the mean old wood nymph, Wilameana. She was going to chase them out of her forest, but Moss's loyal forest friends were faster. The eagle saw what was happening and swooped down at the branch that she was sitting on. Eagles don't have very loud voices, but they have really big wings. When the eagle made his wings flap really fast it scared that old wood nymph. Wilameana fell off that top branch and landed near the bottom of her tree. Eagles and crows are not really friends, but for the most part they get along. The eagle needed help to scare off Wilameana so he asked the crows for help. They have really loud voices. So they also started cawing and screeching at Wilameana. With the eagle flapping his wings and the crows cawing at her Wilameana jumped down on the ground to run away from them.  But wait. Poppy, the skunk ran after Wilameana and lifted his tail and sprayed the mean nymph with her stinky stuff. Oh she hollered something fierce. Then Lycan finished the job by growling and barking and chasing her through the woods. He chased her up the stone stairs to the top of the mountain.
Well, what do you  think their plan was? I have a feeling we will find out in the next story.

  1. I smiled yesterday when I read Bonnie's comment about the search team being on horseback because I had all these pictures of children on horseback. Once again the photos were wonderful. Tomorrow is the conclusion of this series.
