Mrs. Joann had given Marlee a very old doll of hers. She wanted Marlee to take very good care of it and keep it for many years. She called that doll a keepsake. That means when Marlee looks at it she will always remember her and the fun times they had.
Marlee was such a good girl and told her thank you so much. She loved her new doll on sight and gave it a big hug and gentle pats.
That day it was raining and raining. But Marlee and Grandma Lu weren't afraid. Grandma Lu said, "Come on, Marlee, I have an umbrella, you want to go outside with me?" And so they did and had lots of fun.
Marlee got the bottom of her pants wet from jumping in the puddles, but she didn't care. It was so much fun!
When they walked back into the restaurant they decided that they would play and have fun. Grandma Lu had an extra pair of sunglasses and gave them to Marlee. She loved being silly. It was a great day for fun and being goofy. Marlee found a pumpkin and decided to sit down and have fun with the grandmas.
When they got back to the table it was time for birthday cupcakes. It was Grandma B's turn to be silly. She had a blue tongue!
When it finally stopped raining they gathered up their things to take them to the car. Marlee heard Grandma Lu say, "Marlee is so beautiful she should be in Hollywood."
Oh this is going to be such fun! I hope everyone enjoys it. By the way it was a very fun little party.
ReplyDeleteThat it was. When its time forbus to get together all I say to Marlee is " Do you want to go have lunch with the girls?" and she gets so excited. Key is never tell her too early or thats all you hear. The day she is always excited to dress up, do her hair and oh put on a little makeup for the girls. Its party time lol
