Santa's Helpers Are Busy

All was not quiet at the North Pole. Santa was being surrounded by elves and friends of the Santa Helper Organization. They had worked for him for generations and they were not going to let him retire!
There was a Santa Helper that got a chance to talk to Marlee and Whittle Jo. They had no clue that Santa was going to retire so he didn't mention it to them however, as soon as they were finished talking, he was going to get in touch with his Boss; the real Santa. Marlee had whispered in his ear that her baby sister really needed a new pair of boots.

Brenna and her daddy had also put a bright star on the top of their tree that had added to the bright light that was shining for the team of goats. They later celebrated with Frosty. Christmas was such a happy time for them. Brenna's birthday was so close to Christmas that everyone was smiling and wishing her well.

Jordan, Landon, and Joshua were a bit surprised that one of Santa's helpers wasn't there to hear their Christmas wishes. But Mrs. Claus's helper was nice, so they didn't think anything of it. They wanted to get home to their baby brother and tell him all about their visit.

Peyton, Braydon, and Maxwell also got to visit one of Santa's helpers. He seemed jolly and very happy. They were assured that Santa would be coming before they woke up on Christmas morning. Actually he hoped that they could all talk him out of retiring.

Back at Marleewood the bright light was still shining. Everyone seemed satisfied that everything was okay. So Hunter asked if he and some of his friends, Marlee and her brother, Kyler could start making gingerbread houses. That's all it took for the Christmas spirit to fill that old house with laughter and wonderful smells of holiday goodies. Oh how much fun is this? Look at Hunter's elf hat? Christmas cooking is so much part of the fun of this time of year.

Addie was grinning because she saw what was going on in the front kitchen. She saw Arieanna making slime for Julian's birthday. She was keeping quiet as a mouse because she was hoping to get to play with some of it.  She just loves her new hat. It even has a big A on it for the first letter of her name.

Suddenly everyone noticed that the bright light was gone. They ran to the window and everything was back to normal. It wasn't even snowing anymore.
Oh dear, all at once Marlee didn't feel so good. She needed to lay down. Hopefully she will feel better because there is going to be a big Christmas party at Marleewood very soon.

  1. Santa's helpers seem very optimistic so I'm sure everything will be fine if Santa isn't too stubborn. There is just a day or two before Christmas and Whittlee needs some new boots.
