Be careful What You Wish For!

Cynthia and Nancy got on their phones and started calling their friends and relatives. The first family to say, "Yes!" was Cynthia's daughter Tricia. They had a young baby though so Tricia asked if there would be someone that could watch her for a few minutes while they visited with the grownups. Nancy called her daughter and asked if Samantha could come to the party. Her daughter asked Samantha if she wanted to go and she said, "Yes, what do I wear?"

Samantha picked out her birthday outfit to wear. Oh this was so exciting.

Charlie's grandma asked her if she wanted to go to Marleewood and of course, the answer was, "Yes! Yay! Is it okay if I wear my Elf Hat?" Her nanny said, "I'm sure Grandma B won't care. You look cute in it."

Then she called Marlee and then Marlee started calling her friends, then they started calling their friends; a lot of friends.....

Grace, Aaliyah, and Kaydence said they would help with the little ones at the party. Some lived close enough they could walk or ride a bike. They too, thought it was time for a get together before Christmas.

Finnley, and Avery were going. They were going to tell everyone all about their new sister.

Spencer and Grace were set to go and so was Oakley and Johnny Belle and Bradshaw's grandparents. Oh what a fun party this was going to be. Hopefully the weather was going to be nice.

Mylee was getting her make up on way ahead of time. She wanted to practice to make sure it was right. Lip gloss seemed to work rather well for eye shadow. Her daddy was her biggest supporter as well as model.

Some people were coming from out of town. Some of them decided that they couldn't go out of town without their pets, so they started piling in the car with their dogs and cats and even a frog! Oh no. Do you remember who is allergic to cats?

If I remember right, Poppy was one of the first pets to want to get on the road. Oh oh, he's an escape artist and I have heard that he doesn't particularly like cats.

Grandma Lu should remember the old phrase, "Be careful what you wish for...

  1. When I was entertaining a lot I always used the rule of thumb that if you invited 100 people about fifty would come. It's looking like that isn't holding true for this party. Oh dear
