Marlee And Sawyer Have A Visit

It seemed there was very little time for Marlee and Sawyer to have a private conversation. Since the Santa Room had opened the Santas and the babies and Marlee's friends were coming and going. Of course, they were all very welcome at Marleewood. Cookies, and candies and snacks were always there too because Marlee's friends and family had a tradition of baking and making goodies especially at Christmas time. Those things were a tradition. A tradition is kind of like something that happens every year at the same time. For instance at Thanksgiving time it is a tradition for Grandma B to make noodles for her families' dinner. Everyone loves to eat them and they are expected to be on her table for that special day. Grandma B doesn't get flour on her hair or the floor. She is a Handy Andy in her kitchen! Her motto is "no muss no fuss." (I may have made that up) Big grin!

Noodles are a tradition at Grandma Pat's Thanksgiving table too, but somehow they just don't turn out quite the same when Grandpa Mike makes them. He starts out pretty well, but ends up spilling them on the floor and getting flour all over the place. He usually ends up with a towel on his head instead of the counter. He complains a lot, but secretly he loves making them and teasing Grandma Pat. She finally told him that she was tired of watching him and that was that.
Santa was in the Santa Room with Kylee, Aadon, and Kenlee. I wonder what
they asked Santa for. They sure look like good little children. Hopefully Santa can grant their wishes.
He also went to the kitchen and had some hot chocolate with Grandma B while the babies in the Daycare were also waiting their turn.
I see Kaysyn is enjoying her visit with Santa. What a pretty smile she has. She is all dressed up today with her beautiful Christmas dress. I am so very sure she will have a great Christmas with her family.
Oh, there is Johnnie Belle. She is just a little baby girl, but she is certainly ready for Christmas in her beautiful outfit. Look at her hat to match. Such a beauty too. Her little tongue is saying, "I just can't wait to see what this Santa stuff is all about!" Such a joy she is to her family, I am sure.
At last Marlee had a chance to grab Sawyer and say, "Hey can you sneak out for a minute? I really need to talk to you about your letter to Santa. He gave her a quick nod of his head. They told Grandma B that they were going to go to the fast food place next door to have a quiet visit. And would she please help them on with their coats. Grandma B started to question Marlee, but knew that they would be fine. Mrs. Sandy was there helping today. She would call her and tell her to be on the lookout for these two (2). She wondered what they were up to now. It seemed like Marlee was always up to something.
Oh look, they are both smiling really big. Oh dear, now what, I wonder. I think that Grandma B and Mrs. Sandy better talk, and talk soon.
