Santas Start Arriving At Marleewood

Word that Marleewood had opened up its new Santa Room spread like wild fire. The Grandmas had contacted the Special Santas and had asked them if they could come to Marleewood and meet some of Marlee's friends. There were several of them so they all had to be scheduled to come on different times as well as different days.
Harleigh had made some cookies to add to what was already in the Santa Room. Hopefully there will be more coming because cookies and snacks seemed to disappear very quickly even before the Daycare opened if you will remember.
The first Santas were scheduled for today. Addison sat on Santa's lap and smiled for the photographer that was there to take pictures. Pictures are very important to have. They are so much fun to look at when you can't quite remember exactly how you looked or where the picture was taken. That's why a pictures is said to "be worth a thousand (1000) words" because you could talk a long time about just one photo.
That especially happens when there are several people looking at the same photo. They all have different memories of the same day. Well soon another Santa arrived. He really was a  "jolly old elf" as the story goes. Look how much Kenyan is loving his visit with Santa. He is too little to make a list, or write a letter, but he is having a ball. Isn't this a picture that his parents and grandparents and Great Grandma Bonnie will talk about for years. What a happy baby.

Just as Kenyon and his mama were leaving you could hear Santa laughing and laughing, "Ho Ho Ho, what do we have here? I don't think that you came to see me did you young lady? You like that Old St. Nick better than a real live Santa?" Oh Grandma Pat laughed, and said, "Well, Santa, I don't have to feed this one cookies and milk on Christmas Eve." Oh, everyone heard them joking and teasing each other. Marlee and her friends at Marleewood were having so much fun.
Grandma Pat invited Santa into the kitchen to have a warm drink with his cookies.
While they were in the kitchen another Santa arrived and had settled into a beautiful old soft chair. Soon a mom and dad brought their twin boys, Josh and Matt. Are they not just a  lap full of cute?
While Marleewood had their Santas, Sawyer had gone to his Grandma Phyllis' Christmas party at her work. Guess what, yes, there was a Santa there too. Do you think that Sawyer will remind Santa of his and Marlee's letters or do you think he will talk it over with Marlee first? He may just wait and see what happens. Mrs. Santa is there also and Sawyer just doesn't think that this is the time or the place to remind Santa of his letter.
He has decided to wait....
