Please Put The Sign Up Grandma B

Marlee and Grandma B had taken some time off. There were lots of things to do around the Mini Farm and in the house too. Grandma B had done a lot of house cleaning. She had cleaned her cupboards and scrubbed her floors and her carpet too. She had a new granddaughter, Whitlee Jo, so she had done some cooking for Marlee's mama and daddy to help out a little. Of course, one of the reasons was to get to hold Marlee's new baby sister. Babies are so fun to hold. However, Marlee saw no reason that her "B" should hold her. After all "B" was her grandma! Marlee was only two (2) years old and that is exactly how a two (2) year old thinks a lot of the times especially when they haven't had to share their loved ones before. Marlee had to share with Grandmas and Uncles and her mama and daddy too! That was a lot. Marlee's best friend was feeling the pinch too. We will read about Stashia later this week. She is having a really tough go of it lately.
Marlee had gotten some new tea cups as a gift from Grandma B and on this particular morning, Marlee had been doing some thinking while she was drinking her tea. She kept thinking about being snowed in out at Mrs. Liz's farm. The more she thought about that time, the more she smiled and thought about all the fun they all had out there. Oops, she got in a hurry and helped herself to some more "tea" and spilled a little. Grandma B assured her that everyone spills sometimes and not to worry. She quickly cleaned up the little spill. Grandma B was having a cup of coffee and realized that Marlee was thinking really hard about something. She hoped that Marlee wasn't dreaming up another adventure. She still had so much to do yet to get her house all cleaned and pretty. Spring was going to be here before you knew it. Spring was a busy time at the Mini Farm. Therefore, she had to get all of her inside work done. She had been making little things to decorate her house and just really didn't have time for...

Suddenly Marlee said, "B" I think you should put the sign up. I'm ready to go see Grandma Lu and my friends again. I love you and Papa, but I need to get back to my Marleewood and get back to work. I was just thinking. Soon it will be Valentines Day. I don't even know if Charlie ordered anything for the Holiday Shop. Do you?" Before Grandma B could answer her, Marlee said, and besides that I miss Grandma Lu. She promised us another winter time story. Will you put the sign up again?
Grandma B sighed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she didn't have another adventure in mind. So she said, "Of course, I will. I will call Grandma Lu and tell her we will soon be open for Story Time and the Holiday Shop will be open soon."
Really readers, Grandma B should have known better, shouldn't she? Marlee has a busy little mind. I'm afraid she has a plan. Oh dear...
