Grandma Lu Thought The Dog Was Winking At Her

Grandma Lu had been traveling for two days. She had seen fun things and talked to many folks along the way. She grinned to herself thinking about a little girl that she had seen making mud brownies. She had reminded her so much of Arieanna she had almost stopped, but she was getting really tired, and yes, a bit homesick. She missed her husband and wished that he had come along, but she had so much to tell him when she got home again.

"The first thing I have to do is find someplace to lay my head. I am really tired."
She finally saw a sign that said, "Vacancy" so she turned in and was so very pleased that they had a room for her.

"Good grief, I didn't think that I would ever find a motel to stay at. Land's sakes! This must be a pet friendly motel. There is a dog at the pool. Well, I don't know what to think of that. I guess it's okay if the guests don't mind." She stood at the window and watched the dog. He was not a bit happy to be in the water. "He acts like he is afraid. I'm sure there are some dogs, just like people that are scared to do things that their friends like to do." She stood at the window and watched and grinned. There were three  more dogs that had come over to the setter. They acted like they were his friends. Especially the black and white dog. He kept putting his paw up as if to say, 'Good job'. Did that dog just look up here and wink at me?" Oh she laughed and then decided that she needed to go shopping. She needed a hat at least to go watch the pirates in the parade. "Oh this is going to be so much fun!"

There were two ships about to dock in Florida One ship had Nora and her friends on it. One ship had Grandma B and her friends on it.
There was a third ship still out at sea, but was scheduled to dock the next day. The folks on that ship were about to sit down to a feast. A feast fit for a pirate!
