Cowboy howled with laughter. "Oh that reminds me of my human. It snows so much where we live that he has to shovel off the roof of the house so it doesn't get too heavy and cave in. I even help him sometimes. I kind of miss those guys..."
Suddenly the lady screamed. "Stop, Cowboy! Stop! There's a little girl and a dog. We have to pick them up. They will get lost or hurt."
"Just how in the world do you think we can make room for two more in this old pickup? There is barely enough room for us as it is. They need to get back to their home where they belong."
The lady got out and asked the little girl who she was and where she and her dog were going.
The little girl said, "I am Marlee. My grandma B's dog, Stashia and I are going on vacation. I took all of my egg money out of my chicken bank so I could afford to go on vacation just like my Grandma B. Do you think you have room for me and Stashia to ride with you? I think my B went to Florida. Is that very far?" About that time there was some honking going on. Marlee couldn't believe her eyes. It was Cooper in his brand new car. She hadn't seen him for a long time.
Cooper said he lived in Florida and was on his way home. "Hop in Marlee. I will take you and Stashia with me. I'm sure you can find your grandma. I am actually going to the Pirate Parade. It will be fun. What do you think?"
Marlee was all for it, but Stashia just groaned and got in the little blue car much against her better judgement and most of all, her discomfort. Cooper's car was little.
There were eyes watching them from inside an old old cabin.
Pintrest photo credit for the snowman. Fit perfectly. Have you ever been homesick?
ReplyDeleteWell I bet before long he wont have time to be homesick. I sure hope Marlee, Cooper and Stashia stay safe and out of trouble.
