Marlee Lands In The Wilderness

Marlee gently landed in the wilderness. As she looked around her and realized that she was in a strange place, she was surprised that she wasn't scared. She almost felt like she was at home. Everything around her looked different yet the same. The first thing that she saw was a flock of turkeys. Marlee giggled because they ate bugs in the grass and they made funny sounds. They were so pretty she wanted to pet them, but decided that she didn't want to scare them so she just watched them for awhile.
Marlee decided that she wanted to explore this new place so she walked through the forest and came to a clearing in the woods. There was a little house! It sure looked different than her house and her Grandma B's house. "Hmm, I think I will go look in the window and see if anybody is at home." As she got closer to the cabin she heard some voices coming from the back yard. She quietly went around the cabin and saw some people sitting in a circle. "Oh, I think I know those people, Isn't that my Uncle B and Nana? Oh, it just can't be  because I'm not home, I think I'm in Texas! Even though Marlee knew it couldn't be people that she knew, she walked towards them anyway. They couldn't see her! Then she laughed to herself. "Oh my goodness, I'm still asleep! How funny." Marlee decided that she would have a good time in her dream and continue to explore. And besides that, she wanted to find the doll that was in that picture. She was just beautiful!

She walked right past those people and again through the woods. Oh, it was pretty. There were so many trees and bushes and flowers. She saw lots of little animals running and playing in the trees and in the grass. She grinned again thinking of the trouble that Stashia gets into chasing squirrels when she is in the house. She remembered that she had knocked down Grandma B's curtains. Oh, she had used her mad voice that time for sure. "Too bad Stashia and Zoe aren't with me now. We would have so much fun!"
In a little bit she couldn't believe her eyes! She just knew that that was her  Grandma B! Why did Marlee think that she knew all of these people? Do dreams do that or was she really in Texas and the wild wild west? Hmm. Or was she someplace else entirely? I guess we will join Marlee again to find out just exactly what is going on.....
